SpyAxe is malware and is categorized under Rogue Anti-Spyware. SpyAxe secretly installs itself onto your computer and issues fake warnings in order to manipulate you into purchasing the full version.
When detecting SpyAxe look for warnings in your task bar that will appear to be from Microsoft Security Center. The warnings will alert you that your computer is infected with spyware and will urge you to run their anti-spyware tool where they prompt you to purchase. SpyAxe is just one of many Rogue AntiSpyware programs on the internet today.

Zlob.MediaCodec is a trojan downloader that calls itself as a Codec installer, which is needed for playing a file in Windows Media Player. Zlob.MediaCodec may come bundled with fake anti-spyware programs such as SpywareQuake, SpySheriff or PestTrap. After installation Zlob.MediaCodec opens up a backdoor security hole, allowing remote attackers to control your computer, execute programs, download additional malware, and steal personal data and credit card information.
