One of the basic methods to recognize a legitimate security program is to make sure that it asks your permission before the installment. However, most of the rogue anti-spyware programs get on your system without you even noticing it. This is the case with PersonalAntivirus. It usually sneaks into computer through backdoor trojans or insecure web downloads. It is very important to know that such software cannot be trusted.

Personal Antivirus is a clone of the other two fake security software frauds – Internet Antivirus Pro and General Antivirus. Although this tool offers to scan your system for virus threads and to remove system infections, it performs no such actions. Personal Antivirus only generates fake security reports and demands you to purchase it so that it could ‘remove’ some none existing viruses. This program is a malware itself which means that instead of strengthening your computer’s security it only weakens it. Personal Antivirus should be deleted at once when detected on the system.
