Worm.Mydoom is worm that spreads through e-mail messages and sometimes may be bundled with other malware. After installation, Worm.Mydoom will copy itself to several locations, including peer to peer file sharing directories. At the same moment Worm.Mydoom will attempt to spread by emailing itself to all entries in your Outlook address book and IM messenger contact lists. Worm.Mydoom will also open a TCP connection on port 3127. This allows unauthorized access to the infected machine and malicious users could easily access your private information.

How to manually remove Worm.Mydoom

1. Uninstall Worm.Mydoom from Control Panel
   Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Double click to uninstall.

   helper.dll
   To stop processes press Ctrl + Alt + Del or click Start > Run > type "taskmgr". Select malicious process in the list and click "End Process" button.
3. Unregister Worm.Mydoom DLL files:
   helper.dll
   To unregister DLL click Start > Run > type "regsvr32 /u PATH_TO_FILE/FILE.dll"

   To open registry editor click Start > Run > type "regedit".
