Vomba is an adware that usually downloads and installes with the VombaShots (a free wallpaper application). This adware often comes unnoticed without user’s knowledge. As malware Vomba also displays numerous pop-up alerts and mass of computer threats. Vomba can be found in a similar name -  Vomba Content Network which is an an advertising company that may be affiliated with Media Traffic.

How to manually remove Vomba

To get rid of spyware such as Vomba you need to remove processes, search and delete registry keys, DLL and other Vomba related files from your computer.

1. Uninstall Vomba from Control Panel
   Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Double click to uninstall.
2. End these Vomba processes:
   vomba.exe
   vombau.exe
   To stop processes press Ctrl + Alt + Del or click Start > Run > type "taskmgr". Select malicious process in the list and click "End Process" button.
3. Delete Vomba registry entries: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\vomba
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\vomba
   To open registry editor click Start > Run > type "regedit".
   Warning! Manual registry entries editing may cause damage to your system.
   Download Uniblue RegistryBooster 2010 to scan for registry errors.
4. Search and delete these Vomba related files:
   vomba.exe
   vombau.exe
