How to manually remove VirusBye

To get rid of spyware such as VirusBye you need to remove processes, search and delete registry keys, DLL and other VirusBye related files from your computer.

1. Uninstall VirusBye from Control Panel
   Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Double click to uninstall.
2. End these VirusBye processes:
   VirusBye.exe
   uninstall.exe
   virusbyeUpdater.exe
   To stop processes press Ctrl + Alt + Del or click Start > Run > type "taskmgr". Select malicious process in the list and click "End Process" button.
3. Unregister VirusBye DLL files:
   MCBlock.dll
   MCClean.dll
   virusbyeRes.dll
   To unregister DLL click Start > Run > type "regsvr32 /u PATH_TO_FILE/FILE.dll"
4. Delete VirusBye registry entries: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “VirusBye”
   To open registry editor click Start > Run > type "regedit".
   Warning! Manual registry entries editing may cause damage to your system.
   Download Uniblue RegistryBooster 2010 to scan for registry errors.
5. Search and delete these VirusBye related files:
   VirusBye.lnk
   VirusBye.exe
   %ProgramFiles%\virusbye\data\Enc_Code.ss
   %ProgramFiles%\virusbye\MCBlock.dll
   %ProgramFiles%\virusbye\MCClean.dll
   %ProgramFiles%\virusbye\uninstall.exe
   %ProgramFiles%\virusbye\virusbye.exe
   %ProgramFiles%\virusbye\virusbye.url
   %ProgramFiles%\virusbye\virusbyeRes.dll
   %ProgramFiles%\virusbye\virusbyeUpdater.exe
   %UserProfile%\Desktop\[KOREAN LANGUAGE CHARACTERS].Bye.lnk
   %UserProfile%\Start Menu\Programs\virusbye\[KOREAN LANGUAGE CHARACTERS].Bye [KOREAN LANGUAGE CHARACTERS].lnk
