How to manually remove SpyCare

To get rid of spyware such as SpyCare you need to remove processes, search and delete registry keys, DLL and other SpyCare related files from your computer.

1. Uninstall SpyCare from Control Panel
   Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Double click to uninstall.
2. End these SpyCare processes:
   uninstall.exe
   spycareup.exe
   launcher.exe
   spycaresetups3.exe
   SpyCare.exe
   To stop processes press Ctrl + Alt + Del or click Start > Run > type "taskmgr". Select malicious process in the list and click "End Process" button.
3. Unregister SpyCare DLL files:
   spycareres.dll
   spycarefunc.dll
   spycareblk.dll
   To unregister DLL click Start > Run > type "regsvr32 /u PATH_TO_FILE/FILE.dll"
4. Delete SpyCare registry entries: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0A133B55-83C4-4e7e-B070-B87EC9BEAF67}

   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{6F15F322-9856-4E07-AEBE-BA5D2DDBAF56}
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{AEB37881-6DA5-4CA3-AF14-7D1E11E8439B}
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SCBLKBHO
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SpyCare
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\SpyCare
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\SpyCare
   To open registry editor click Start > Run > type "regedit".
   Warning! Manual registry entries editing may cause damage to your system.
   Download Uniblue RegistryBooster 2010 to scan for registry errors.
5. Search and delete these SpyCare related files:
   c:\program files\SpyCare\SpyCare.exe
   c:\program files\SpyCare\spycareblk.dll
   c:\documents and settings\{username}\Desktop\spycaresetups3.exe
   c:\program files\SpyCare\launcher.exe
   c:\program files\SpyCare\spycarefunc.dll
   c:\program files\SpyCare\spycareres.dll
   c:\program files\SpyCare\spycareup.exe
   c:\program files\SpyCare\uninstall.exe
   c:\program files\SpyCare\Data\enc_spyccode.ss
   c:\program files\SpyCare\Data\enc_spycsitebase.mc
   
6. Block SpyCare malicious domains:
   www.spycare.co.kr
