How to manually remove ProtectOne

To get rid of spyware such as ProtectOne you need to remove processes, search and delete registry keys, DLL and other ProtectOne related files from your computer.

1. Uninstall ProtectOne from Control Panel
   Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Double click to uninstall.
2. End these ProtectOne processes:
   protectone.exe
   protectonerun.exe
   uninstall.exe
   setup_protectone.exe
   To stop processes press Ctrl + Alt + Del or click Start > Run > type "taskmgr". Select malicious process in the list and click "End Process" button.
3. Delete ProtectOne registry entries: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\protectone
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\protectone
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\yprotectone
   To open registry editor click Start > Run > type "regedit".
   Warning! Manual registry entries editing may cause damage to your system.
   Download Uniblue RegistryBooster 2010 to scan for registry errors.
4. Search and delete these ProtectOne related files:
   C:\Program Files\protect_one
   C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Desktop\setup_protectone.exe
   C:\Program Files\protect_one\del.dat
   C:\Program Files\protect_one\protectone.exe
   C:\Program Files\protect_one\protectonerun.exe
   C:\Program Files\protect_one\uninstall.exe
   
5. Block ProtectOne malicious domains:
   www.protectone.co.kr
