its on mine too, he i right the files are still there they are hiding, so when you try to delete the processes, you cant find them. when you look he registry you cant find the registry files. but they are still there. it is very annoying. they are hiding in rootkits. i have tried to unhide the files from the rootkit but its not working. the application in the corner is running…

I have located malware doctor on my pc and it turns out to in a folder called ‘roaming’ (this folder can only be found in vista and win 7) if you are a xp user it will be in a hidden folder called ‘application data’, just search it in google, a good tip is that the malware doctor has stopped you from geeting access to the address bar, so i suggest you use internet explorer’s address bar.to get your task manager back i suggest you look on youtube/google on how to enable regedit first, once you done that then search how to enable task manager. Hope this helped please let me know..

By the way the folder name will be quiet long and random so look carefully, the folder should have some thing called enemies.txt (something like), once found simply delete the folder.

Malware Doctor attacked my PC. I tried to get out of that (of MD), but everything has frozen. I waited, nothing happened. I rebooted the system, but now I can’t get into Windows (XP pro). It gets me where I have to chose safe mode etc. But whatever I choose it always reboots! I’m confused. Any ideas please?

I got the Malware Doctor on my PC too somehow, but I got lucky:
my last Windows restorepoint was only a few days old.
Now the Malware Doctor will try to block access to System Restore, but if you go there immediately on startup you may get it running before Malware Doctor starts (placing a shortcut to System Restore on your desktop beforehand will help).
Then simply choose the last restorepoint before the trouble started.
It worked great on my PC, hope it’s of help to others.

    1. Open task manager
    2. you will see ”techupdate.exe”. select and say ‘end process’.
    3. You still have the thread in ur PC
    4. right click on malware doctor to check it’s location in your PC.
    5. Go to that perticular location and delete the corresponding folder.
    6. Now you can Uninstall the Malware doctor from control panel.
    7. If something remains on your desktop, simply select it and delete.

There is a new varient. You can not open any browser to the correct site, nor taskmgr, nor remove programs, nor sys set points, nor the things you would use from the control panel. nor safe mode.
I found the file called (something)700 (something)in admin/docs/settings using propertys and cut the file then nothing….will not boot.
