eBlaster description

eBlaster is a particularly nasty Spyware Trojan. Marketed by SpectorSoft, eBlaster, records your email, chats, instant messages, visited web sites and keystrokes typed. Following eBlaster recording pretty much everything you do on your PC, it automatically and secretly sends this information to a pre-assigned email address.

How to manually remove eBlaster

To get rid of spyware such as eBlaster you need to remove processes, search and delete registry keys, DLL and other eBlaster related files from your computer.

1. Uninstall eBlaster from Control Panel
   Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Double click to uninstall.
2. End these eBlaster processes:
   appms.drv
   biosboot.exe
   eb50setup.exe
   eblaster 5.0.txt
   msqkvowin.msj
   msqkvowin.rcv
   msquf32.msj
   msquf32.rcv
   To stop processes press Ctrl + Alt + Del or click Start > Run > type "taskmgr". Select malicious process in the list and click "End Process" button.
3. Unregister eBlaster DLL files:
   ceract.dll
   chkcer.dll
   hosthex32.dll
   netras.dll
   perfboot.dll
   rtfmidi.dll
   statslink.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\autprof.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\biosuni.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\catmidi.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\cfgtcp.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\cfgvga.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\compserver.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\conflib32.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\ctldde.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\ctldll.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\ddectl.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\devcrypt.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\dhcpkbd.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\dllcmd.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\httpsserver32.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\ipdll32.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\kbdman.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\macnetb32.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\midical.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\modipx.dll
   [system root]\\system32\\modstats.dll
   To unregister DLL click Start > Run > type "regsvr32 /u PATH_TO_FILE/FILE.dll"
4. Delete eBlaster registry entries: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE softwareclassesclsid{0e289927-69b7-4c4c-8502-354e048c8e92} HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE softwareclassesclsid{0e289927-69b7-4c4c-8502-354e048c8e92}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE softwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionshellserviceobjectdelayload
   etbcab
   To open registry editor click Start > Run > type "regedit".
   Warning! Manual registry entries editing may cause damage to your system.
   Download Uniblue RegistryBooster 2010 to scan for registry errors.
5. Search and delete these eBlaster related files:
   [system root]\system32\chkdisk.exe

   [system root]\system32\logmon.exe
   [system root]\system32\modnetb\diskstats.drv
