How to manually remove CleanVirus

To get rid of spyware such as CleanVirus you need to remove processes, search and delete registry keys, DLL and other CleanVirus related files from your computer.

1. Uninstall CleanVirus from Control Panel
   Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Double click to uninstall.
2. End these CleanVirus processes:

   launcher.exe
   CleanVirusUp.exe
   CleanVirus.exe
   To stop processes press Ctrl + Alt + Del or click Start > Run > type "taskmgr". Select malicious process in the list and click "End Process" button.
3. Unregister CleanVirus DLL files:
   CleanVirusRes.dll
   CleanVirusFnc.dll
   CleanVirusBlk.dll
   To unregister DLL click Start > Run > type "regsvr32 /u PATH_TO_FILE/FILE.dll"
4. Delete CleanVirus registry entries: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cleanvirusblk

   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{9ff58e32-3bc4-4430-b8f5-30e9044342fd}
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{ada7fa84-a3c9-46cb-be62-397a54fc7464}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\{ada7fa84-a3c9-46cb-be62-397a54fc7464}
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cleanvirusblk.1
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\CleanVirus
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CleanVirus
   To open registry editor click Start > Run > type "regedit".
   Warning! Manual registry entries editing may cause damage to your system.
   Download Uniblue RegistryBooster 2010 to scan for registry errors.
5. Search and delete these CleanVirus related files:
   C:\Program Files\CleanVirus
   C:\Program Files\CleanVirus\data
   C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Start Menu\Programs\CleanVirus
   C:\Program Files\CleanVirus\CleanVirusBlk.dll
   C:\Program Files\CleanVirus\CleanVirus.exe
   C:\Program Files\CleanVirus\CleanVirusFnc.dll
   C:\Program Files\CleanVirus\CleanVirusRes.dll
   C:\Program Files\CleanVirus\CleanVirusUp.exe
   C:\Program Files\CleanVirus\launcher.exe
   C:\Program Files\CleanVirus\uninstall.exe
   C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Start Menu\Programs\CleanVirus\CleanVirus.lnk
   C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Desktop\CleanVirus.LNK
   
6. Block CleanVirus malicious domains:
   www.cleanvirus.co.kr
