AntiTroy is a fake security application from a series of similar malicious programs which includes such notorious rogue anti-spyware tools as AntiKeep, AntiAdd, RESpyWare and a number of others. How to manually remove AntiTroy

To get rid of spyware such as AntiTroy you need to remove processes, search and delete registry keys, DLL and other AntiTroy related files from your computer.

1. Uninstall AntiTroy from Control Panel
   Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Double click to uninstall.
2. End these AntiTroy processes:
   AntiTroy.exe
   uninstall.exe
   To stop processes press Ctrl + Alt + Del or click Start > Run > type "taskmgr". Select malicious process in the list and click "End Process" button.
3. Unregister AntiTroy DLL files:

   To unregister DLL click Start > Run > type "regsvr32 /u PATH_TO_FILE/FILE.dll"
4. Delete AntiTroy registry entries: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AntiTroy
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AntiTroy
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AntiTroy
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "AntiTroy.exe"
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run ".exe"
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "AntiTroy"
   To open registry editor click Start > Run > type "regedit".
   Warning! Manual registry entries editing may cause damage to your system.
   Download Uniblue RegistryBooster 2010 to scan for registry errors.
5. Search and delete these AntiTroy related files:
   c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\AntiTroy.lnk
   c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\AntiTroy
   c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\AntiTroy\1 AntiTroy.lnk
