How to manually remove Antivirus Elite

To get rid of spyware such as Antivirus Elite you need to remove processes, search and delete registry keys, DLL and other Antivirus Elite related files from your computer.

1. Uninstall Antivirus Elite from Control Panel
   Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Double click to uninstall.
2. End these Antivirus Elite processes:
   Anti-Virus Elite.exe
   To stop processes press Ctrl + Alt + Del or click Start > Run > type "taskmgr". Select malicious process in the list and click "End Process" button.
3. Delete Antivirus Elite registry entries: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Anti-Virus Elite 5.0_is1
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Anti-Virus Elite
   To open registry editor click Start > Run > type "regedit".
   Warning! Manual registry entries editing may cause damage to your system.
   Download Uniblue RegistryBooster 2010 to scan for registry errors.
4. Search and delete these Antivirus Elite related files:
   C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Anti-Virus Elite\Anti-Virus Elite.lnk
   C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Anti-Virus Elite\Uninstall Anti-Virus Elite.lnk
   C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\Anti-Virus Elite.lnk
   C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temp\is-3BJM3.tmp\is-JPISD.tmp
   C:\Program Files\Anti-Virus Elite\adgutils.dll
   C:\Program Files\Anti-Virus Elite\Anti-Virus Elite.exe
   C:\Program Files\Anti-Virus Elite\noadware4_081909.na
   C:\Program Files\Anti-Virus Elite\unins000.dat
   C:\Program Files\Anti-Virus Elite\unins000.exe
   C:\Program Files\Anti-Virus Elite\UninstlDll.dll
